Food Allergy Counseling

Managing family food allergies can be overwhelming. I know, because I’m an allergy parent myself. Whether you are struggling with a new allergy diagnosis or need help help managing the allergies your family has had for years, I’ll help you learn how to safely, read labels, plan meals and optimize your child’s food pattern to promote growth and a healthy relationship with food.

Preconception through Postpartum Recovery


Get your pregnancy off to a healthy start! Pregnancy is a time when many women are inspired to introduce healthy changes into their lives for the sake of their growing families. Whether you are otherwise healthy and just want to make sure you are doing the best you can for your baby or are facing specific challenges, we’ll work together to find solutions that fit your needs.

If you have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, contact me about this package and we’ll work together to determine the number of follow-up consultations that will be right for you.

Preconception (couples counseling also available):

Did you know that nutrition affects your fertility and that certain elements of a healthy diet are critical to your baby’s health even before you find out that you are pregnant? With this service, we’ll work together to explore ways to improve your diet to optimize your chances of conceiving and give your future baby a healthy start.

Postpartum Recovery:

Growing, delivering and feeding a baby via your own body is no joke! I don’t believe in “snapping back” – you’ve got an altogether new life now and it’s okay to adjust accordingly! But I do want new mamas to feel confident that the foods and physical activity in their lives are working for them as they adjust to new motherhood. This is not counseling for weight loss, rather, my approach favors helping you nourish and feel your best in your new body.

Whether or not you and your family are facing specific health challenges, more often than not it’s difficult just to get a healthy dinner on the table most nights of the week! We’ll discuss the challenges specific to your family and your schedule and develop a plan to restore your sanity when it comes to feeding yourself and your loved ones.

Childhood Feeding

Breastfeeding Dietary Challenges:

If you know or suspect that your baby is reacting to certain foods in your diet, we’ll work together to determine an eating plan that is best for your baby and works for your life.

Starting Solids:

Your baby needs to start solids eventually, but often it’s the parent who doesn’t know where to begin! If you want a little hand-holding from a credentialed professional, this is the package for you. I use a modern approach of offering modified versions of the same foods the parents are eating. We’ll discuss how to modify food, potential allergic reactions and whether purees, baby led weaning or a combination approach is right for you and your child.

Toddler Feeding:

I know firsthand how challenging it is to feed toddlers! We’ll work together to determine whether your child is experiencing typical picky eating or whether there may be something more serious at play. You’ll learn the research-backed strategies to implement in order to set your child up for a lifetime of healthy eating habits.

End Mealtime Battles:

No matter how old your child is or how long you’ve been struggling with picky eating, I believe it’s possible to add structure to your meals and learn simple strategies to help you end mealtime battles. You’ll learn simple ways to bring peace to your family table and help your child slowly learn to try new foods.

Children with Sensory Processing Disorder and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder:

Families dealing with SPD and/or ASD often struggle with restrictive diets, picky eating and introducing new foods. I have been specifically trained to work with these cases and am passionate about helping your family reduce the stress your mealtimes bring and helping your child learn to consume a nutritious diet.
